The Place For No-BS Conversations Among Entrepreneurs and Business Operators
APPLY TO ATTENDThe Deadline to Apply is September 14th
Each year Founders Forum brings an intimate group of company founders and executive operators together for an exclusive event that’s designed to facilitate authentic, "no-BS" conversations on starting & growing a company in Atlantic Canada. Sessions focus on ups and downs, real lessons learned, and major industry trends that entrepreneurs need to be aware of.
Walk away from the three-day event with new perspectives and a network of like-minded peers to call on for support.
Founders Forum 2021 will be an in-person event and will feature elements we have been missing, including a three-course meal, seven thought-provoking panels, and a happy hour for some much-needed networking time.
While we anticipate that NB will remain in the Green Phase of COVID-19 recovery, we will continue to put the health and safety of speakers, audience and staff first by following health and safety regulations at the time of the event.
Each session provides a unique opportunity for thought-provoking conversation amongst entrepreneurs and operators in an intimate setting.
This panel will include stories from the trenches and lessons learned through blood, sweat and tears on building a dynamic, successful business from the ground up. It will provide an opportunity for an intimate intergenerational conversation amongst Atlantic Canadian entrepreneurs.
The focus of this panel will be on the intricacies of building a brand that sticks in the mind of your customer and community.
The focus of this panel will be striking the right balance between customers’ needs and operational concerns as well as experiential shopping and the future of the consumer relationship.
This panel will focus on the strategies, tools and general outlook required to build an organization that leverages change and creativity for growth.
We've all experienced what’s known as the “imposter syndrome”- the fear of not living up to expectations. This panel will feature real-talk on the challenges of leading a company and strategies to realign your mindset with purpose and confidence.
The focus of this panel will include a general review of the major platforms and discussion on how entrepreneurs can leverage social media to stay in front of their key audiences.
The focus of this panel will be people as a driving factor for your business’ success. This panel will unveil the struggles and opportunities, and successful strategies for building and leading a talented, cohesive team.
In order for Founders Forum to foster a comfortable and open environment for asking difficult questions and sharing personal experiences we’ve devised some core values:
1. Authenticity - This medium is not for self-promotion or pitching; discussions will be kept unfiltered.
2. Practicality - Sessions focus on the transferable lessons learned through real experiences, not the type of knowledge you can get from a Google search.
3. Connectivity - Peer to peer discussions and networking is the basis of this event. To avoid distractions, cell phones will not be permitted during forum sessions. Participants phones will be stored securely and available to participants at breaks and meal times.
We will be announcing the founders joining our 2021 panels on August 25th. Stay tuned!
Seats for Founders Forum are limited and by application only.
